Funding

It is increasingly difficult to maintain funding for young researchers, so we need to generate a strong philanthropic support base from individuals, foundations and the private sector.  This will enable us to become more self-sustaining in our research imperatives and will help us to purchase new equipment and recruit young scientists to commit themselves to metabolic diseases research.  Indeed, philanthropy is essential to advance our research to find better treatment for the pathologies.
