The recent appointment of Dr Gurzov will strengthen the collaborations between the STML and the University of Melbourne and the development of a shared PhD program is under development.

In our recent publication, it was described the current new approaches which may allow us to precisely and specifically visualize β-cells in vivo and provide viable therapeutic strategies to preserve, recover and regenerate β-cells.
